In partnership with PhillyCarShare-Delaware and their recent emergence onto the local City of Wilmington scene, all commuters registered with DART's Rideshare will be eligible to receive a $20 driving credit with the hopes of exploring carsharing as another alternate transportation method.
Carsharing presents a unique opportunity for those commuting to work in downtown Wilmington in particular. Through an established Corporate account set up with employers, commuters can leave their personal cars at home and commute to work via carpool, vanpool or public transit and then utilize a PhillyCarShare vehicle for off-site meetings or other business travel during the work day. This approach supports the goal of both agencies to minimize use of personal vehicles and maximize non-drive alone commute options. Further, individuals can set up a Residential account and utilize the vehicles for recreational purposes, such as shopping, leisure trips or any other type of personal use.

French Street (between the 8th St. & 9th Street blocks as well as between 9th & 10th Streets.)
Colonial Parking at 13th & Washington Streets
City Center Garage located on 11th between Tatnall and West Sts.

Commuters can register with DART's Rideshare to request ridematch assistance or to register their existing non-drive alone commute mode on-line after which they'll receive a promotional code used to obtain their driving credit. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
