About RideShare Rewards

"The Clean Air Council, in partnership with RideShare Delaware, is launching a new pilot program that offers incentives for commuters who switch to a more environmentally friendly form of transportation (including walking, biking, public transit or carpooling) from driving alone. This program, named RideShare Rewards, is being funded through a Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) grant received from the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC). Commuters who log at least 20 qualified clean commute days over a three-month period are eligible to earn a $50 gift card. Greenhouse gas emissions reductions will be calculated through RideShare Delaware's online commute tracking system."

The RideShare Rewards program is for commuters who currently drive alone to work. It is an incentive program designed to motivate solo drivers to try a clean commute alternative like carpooling, vanpooling, riding transit, bicycling or walking. Commuters participating will earn a $50 Gift Card for logging 20 clean commute days with RideShare Delaware over a three month period.
